Chad began his Christman career in 2001 as a project engineer. With his ability to deliver project after successful project, Chad has earned steady advancement along the way, being named vice president in 2022. He is often recognized for his significant leadership and mentoring skills. Chad is known for having a great balance of effective analytical and people skills, earning trust and respect from industry partners as well as all who work with him. He ensures his award-winning teams excel at all their assignments, from highly complex projects, such as the Michigan State Capitol project series, the Accident Fund Headquarters project, or the Board of Water & Light’s REO Town Plant, to smaller but challenging and technically nuanced process projects. He also led a client expansion program following the vision of “your building as your brand” at Lake Trust Credit Union.
Chad is always willing to share his historic preservation skills with industry and educational groups. He is passionate about supporting the local community and actively facilitates many of our Be Constructive initiatives such as Habitat for Humanity building projects and partnering with Sparrow Health Foundation as a “Dapper Dad,” walking the runway to raise hospital funds. He is also a part of the Lansing Regional Chamber Leadership Lansing cohort.
