Jacob, a 23-year veteran of the construction industry, joined The Christman Company in 2001 and serves as senior vice president and general manager for West Michigan. Jacob has a proven track record of managing large, complex projects including K-12, healthcare, senior living, office and data centers. He has stepped forward multiple times to lead special projects, including a transformational corporate scheduling standards initiative. He is a registered Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional and Accredited Tier Designer (ATD).
The first member of a construction management firm to achieve the ATD accreditation in the state of Michigan, and one of only a handful nationally, he is able to provide an enhanced level of expertise for planning and implementing Uptime Instituted Accredited Data Center facilities. Jacob is a board member for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Western Michigan Chapter and is a member of the Christman Board of Directors.
