Bristow Run Family Medicine

The Novant Health University of Virginia Bristow Run Family Medicine facility at
Stonewall is a unique healthcare office situated in a shopping district. The office
is designed as an urgent care and general practice facility that includes exam rooms, procedure rooms, a waiting area and general staff office space.

Consistent, daily communication with the owner and their staff was critical to
opening the facility without negative client and patient impact. Christman’s
experience with local permitting laws helped us secure a special “stocking permit” which allowed Novant to move in and begin non-patient operations as the final work was put into place. While the medical office was not already occupied, the building is central to an existing shopping center; it is surrounded by banks, restaurants and a large grocery store. Due to the high traffic area, managing the materials, deliveries and safety of workers and the public remained a top priority for Christman.
