McLaren Healthcare Corporation
The Izzo Family Medical Center is comprised of multiple occupants who strive for innovation while bringing exceptional patient care to Mid-Michigan. This new development will provide a premier destination for additional clinical space, medical research, and education as well as increased accessibility of diagnostic imaging to meet the needs of the region.
McLaren Greater Lansing is expanding their local services with the addition of MSB2 on the campus of their 240-bed greenfield hospital. This new facility will allow for additional clinical space and a partnership with Michigan State University (MSU) Health Care for new diagnostic technology for MRI, CT, X-Ray and ultrasound imagining. MSU is the only university in the United States graduating allopathic (MD) and osteopathic (DO) physicians, doctorate-level nurses, physician assistants and veterinarians. This new expansion of MSU Health Care will be a center of education for the next generation of healthcare workers, allowing access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment.
The outpatient imaging center will be equipped with four wide-bore MRI systems and new digital PET and CT scanners allowing for faster scan times. The project was developed by Gillespie Group and included interior design partner, Pace Howe Design, and civil engineer, PEA Group.
