Christman (then MEDCO Construction) broke ground on this replacement hospital in March 2013 and reached substantial completion in September 2014. The hospital includes 92 patient rooms, 12 ICU rooms, 37 emergency department treatment rooms, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, five operating rooms, a wound care program with a hyperbaric chamber, expanded cardiovascular services, women’s health unit/childbirth services, and interventional radiology as well as Baylor Scott & White Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Waxahachie which features a linear accelerator and infusion bays.
