As the Business Development Manager for Christman’s Tennessee region, Doug embodies the company’s core values by honoring all commitments with integrity and building lasting relationships. With a quarter-century career dedicated to economic development, Doug’s passion for his work and competitive spirit have significantly contributed to Knoxville’s growth. His extensive experience spans the entire project lifecycle, from site selection to ribbon cuttings, across various sectors including corporate office, manufacturing, distribution, life sciences, and research and development.
Doug’s has held leadership positions in various growth-oriented organizations including the Tennessee Economic Development Council and the Tennessee Economic Partnership. Professional affiliations include the International Asset Management Council, Life Sciences Tennessee and Rotary International. Outside of work, Doug is known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. You can often find him hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, cheering on the University of Tennessee Volunteers, or experimenting with new recipes on his trusty Weber charcoal grill.
