Joe Luther came to Christman in 2008, joining us as a project engineer with a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University and three years of industry experience as an estimator. Joe has amassed an impressive resume of major projects in the office, historic preservation, education, healthcare, federal government and multi-family housing market sectors. These projects range from complex interior renovations to new ground up construction; leading large teams of more than 20 to being a one-person show in the field. His well-rounded expertise with a variety of project delivery methods—construction management at-risk, agency construction management, design-build, general contracting and consulting—has honed his technical skills allowing him to meet and exceed client expectations. Joe focuses on forging lasting team relationships and finds his energy from striving for operational excellence in the field and maintaining momentum in the face of significant challenges. Known for honoring commitments with not only integrity but patience and good humor, Joe sets the example for work ethic, positive energy and consistently exceptional outcomes. While Joe enjoys all aspects of his role as General Manager of the Southeast Michigan operations and leading teams to great achievement, he is a builder at his core and finds the greatest satisfaction in the jobsite trailer.
Joe is a member of the Christman Board of Directors.
