The historic Sanitary Laundry Building, a nearly 100-year-old icon near downtown Knoxville, is getting a major makeover. This project by McCarty Holsaple McCarty Architects and Christman will transform the 30,000 sq ft space into a sustainable corporate headquarters, aiming for LEED, WELL, and Net Zero certifications – potentially making it the first in Tennessee to achieve all three! Slated for completion by late 2025 or early 2026, just in time for its 100th anniversary, the building will also offer 10,000 sq ft of rentable space, employee amenities, and more.
