This summer, Christman’s DC Metro team joined forces with the Boulder Crest Foundation to help maintain their transformative retreat space dedicated to supporting military members, veterans, and first responders in their journey toward Posttraumatic Growth (PTG).
The team spent the day cleaning buildings, mucking horse stalls and fields, pulling weeds, painting, and tending the garden, ensuring Boulder Crest remains a welcoming sanctuary for those in need. Through these efforts, Christman DC Metro helped sustain an environment where participants can focus on healing and growth.
Boulder Crest is a global leader in PTG-based programs, offering free, research-backed training to help individuals turn mental health struggles into opportunities for lifelong transformation. With traditional approaches to mental health often falling short for these communities, Boulder Crest’s innovative work is more vital than ever. An estimated 20 veterans die by suicide daily, and more first responders die by suicide annually than in the line of duty. Boulder Crest’s mission is to change this narrative, providing hope, skills, and support to those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
By volunteering, Christman DC Metro proudly contributed to this mission, underscoring the company’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who serve our country and communities. Together, we’re building a foundation for lasting growth, healing, and resilience.
