Recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the nation, The TEXO Distinguished Building Award recognizes the skill, commitment, and passion for construction.  Christman is honored to be a recipient of the award for the Tarleton State University Field House Additions in Stephenville, Texas.

With a project value of $3.1 million, the Field House Additions consisted of a new ground-up addition of 2,200 square feet and interior renovation of existing shell space of 2,000 square feet.

This project scope required our team to work in multiple locations in an existing athletic field house at Tarleton State University. We were required to finish out an existing shell space and convert it to coach’s offices and the football team’s new film room. We also converted an existing storage room into a barber shop. Lastly, we constructed a ground up addition to their existing building and added a multi-purpose room. This work was completed in an existing, and very active, facility. Our project team was front and center in clear view of the end users of these spaces, so expectations were high, and we were able to deliver and create a few new Christman advocates along the way.

The overall project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and under budget.
