Chase Oaks Church
After working with Christman (then MEDCO Construction) on two former projects, Chase Oaks Church sought out the team again, this time to provide pre-construction and construction services for their new satellite campus.
The new building is located on a heavily wooded site and incorporates space for worship, administration, a nursey, children’s ministry and adult education. The youth building is separated from the main building by an exterior covered breezeway and a coffee bar. An entry courtyard with a dynamic cedar slat canopy, landscaping and benches leads from the parking lot to the main entrance. Exterior building materials include a combination of stone, cedar siding, stucco and large expanses of glass.
With flexibility as a top priority for the campus, the project includes a worship center that supports up to 500 seats or conference tables, an open floor plan for kids and youth to adapt to changing needs, and movable partitions to allow for quick alterations for various uses.
