Home Office Expansion

To accommodate a growing number of associates and provide capacity for 1,200 desks, Jackson National Life chose to expand its home office to nearly double its existing size. Adjacent to the existing facility, a new office building and conference center were constructed and connected by a 600-foot enclosed connector that provides staff with quick and easy navigation between the different areas. Large windows in the connector allow staff to enjoy the natural surroundings as it takes them through a heavily forested area. The project also included a dining facility expansion and renovation, existing plant upgrades, wetlands mitigation, and a state-of-the-art green roof. The modern design incorporated glass curtain walls and an abundance of natural light.

Located on a 52-acre greenfield site, the team was challenged to maintain a rural atmosphere. This included protection of the significant wetlands on site to avoid disturbance and destruction. To accommodate the natural surroundings, Christman implemented best practices to maintain a clean and organized job site.
