Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum

Christman provided construction management at-risk services for the renovations of this event facility consisting of a 6,540 seat arena, 2,500 seat performance hall, 4,800 s.f. ballroom, 10,000 s.f. exhibit space, and outdoor plaza.

With a goal of improving the auditorium’s stage for the audience’s experience, work on this project included a new orchestra pit lift, new stage flooring, new mid-bridge, new fire alarm and smoke vents, and a motorized orchestra pit.

Coliseum renovations included upgrades and maintenance to the existing mechanical systems, upgrades to the sports lighting systems and electrical panels, hazardous material abatement, painting, replacement of the existing ice floor, a new scoreboard, fire panel upgrades, and bathroom and locker room upgrades.
