Knoxville Campus Transformation

Siemen’s Knoxville campus is an operational research and development, service, sales, testing, office, and laboratory facility for the development and sales of CT and PET scanning equipment. The facility was renovated in four phases, incorporating four buildings that total 210,000 square feet and serve 300 people.

The purpose of the project was to provide an improved customer (sales) experience and improved employee (user) experience including a dedicated Customer Experience Center with pre-function space, town hall, micro-market/cafeteria, fitness center, restrooms, and new main entry and reception with security turnstiles.

The project included a facility-wide modernization including a complete roof replacement on two of the four buildings, replacement of 23 HVAC rooftop units, upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems, modernization of interior environments, and some site parking and drive aisle pavement improvements including the addition of a loading dock and truck turn-around.
