This was the first phase of a larger $100 million project and included joint repair on the limestone exterior as well as window repair and replacement. The building is occupied year-round and as the window work required hazardous material abatement due to lead and asbestos, the interior work required significant coordination to work around occupants. Some work was done during the day while other portions were completed at night.
The window work consisted of replacing panes, replacing current blast film, cleaning and repairing the existing metal frames and hardware and then repainting. The stone joints required raking and rework. Along with the joint repair, repairs to the gutter system were made.
