Tarleton State University Field House Addition

The field house addition project consisted of a new ground-up, 2,200 s.f. addition and 2,000 s.f. interior renovation of existing shell space.

Christman added value to the project by self-performing the millwork, mechanical, and plumbing work scopes through Christman Millwork and Christman Facility Solutions. As the University saw the cost savings throughout the biweekly updates, the desire for more design changes that did not meet the original budget were added to the project. The project had its own original contingency on the project and through the efforts of Christman’s buyout and great partnership with trades additional funds were added. Weekly project walk throughs and design request walk throughs allowed Christman to work closely to provide accurate cost and design suggestions to the University to enhance the state-of-the-art facility.
