Union Square Campus

Union Square Campus was created through a partnership between Cone Health, Guilford Technical College, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. These institutions combined resources with public and private partners to create this new teaching campus.

The building is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that educates students seeking their nursing associates, bachelor’s and doctoral degrees. The building features shared common areas, a 352-seat auditorium, classrooms, labs and study areas. An advanced, highly technical simulation center features teaching mannequins that can simulate different health conditions. An anatomage table, a virtual operating table, allows students to practice complex surgeries as well as perform dissections and other procedures in full 3D. The facility is also home to labor and delivery rooms, intensive care units and surgical rooms that simulate working in a hospital.
