OrthoTennessee
This three-story medical office building houses an ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy suite, exam rooms, surgical suite, administrative offices and support spaces. The design complements the aesthetic of the other buildings on the pastoral Cherokee Farm campus while also sharing iconic details, such as the three-story oval rotunda, with the nearby UT Medical Center. The selection of a neutral brick color respects the surrounding natural environment, while metal accents and glass add contemporary elements to the design.
The interior design is clean and uncomplicated, embellished with warm wood accents and touches of biophilia in the live plants in the waiting rooms and lobbies. The building incorporates state-of-the-art technologies like Indigo Clean, a visible light disinfection device that kills bacteria in the air and on surfaces, which is used in the building’s operating rooms.
